Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of akemhealing.com (the "Site") and any service booked through it. The Site and the services are operated by Akem Advisory LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, trading as AKEM Healing ("AKEM Healing", "we", "us"). Sessions are delivered by Samuel Holmes on behalf of the company ("Samuel").
By using the Site or booking a session you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
The short version. AKEM Healing sells complementary energy work and life coaching. It is not healthcare. Nothing here diagnoses or treats anything. No outcome is guaranteed. You can cancel free up to 24 hours before your session. Keep seeing your doctor.

1. Who we are
AKEM Healing is a trading name of Akem Advisory LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Nevada, United States. Sessions are delivered by Samuel Holmes on behalf of the company. Contact: Sam@akemhealing.com.
2. Nature of the services
We provide complementary energy work and life coaching, delivered remotely, for wellbeing, personal development and self-improvement purposes. Samuel is not a licensed physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor, psychotherapist, nurse or other regulated healthcare professional, and the services are not licensed healthcare of any kind.
3. Health and medical disclaimer
Nothing on this Site or in a session is medical advice. The content of this Site and of any session is provided for general informational and wellbeing purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease, illness, injury or mental health condition, and no such claim is made.
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any question you have about a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional medical advice, and never delay seeking it, because of something you read on this Site or hear in a session. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number immediately.
Full detail is set out in the Client Agreement and Informed Consent, which you must sign before booking.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book a session or to submit any information through this Site. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent and participate. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
5. Booking and the client agreement
Before the booking calendar becomes available, you must read and electronically sign the Client Agreement and Informed Consent. Your signature, name, email address, the agreement version and the date and time of signing are recorded as evidence of consent. A booking made without a valid signed agreement may be cancelled and refunded.
Your signature remains effective for all subsequent bookings while that version of the Client Agreement is in force, so returning clients are not asked to sign again each time. You will be asked to sign again if the Agreement is updated, or if you book from a different device or browser. Making a booking confirms your continued agreement to the version then in force.
A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking, with a full refund, where we believe the services are not appropriate for you.
6. Fees and payment
Current prices are shown on the Site and are payable in full at the time of booking. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects a session already booked and paid for. You are responsible for any tax applicable in your jurisdiction.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
- More than 24 hours before your session: reschedule at no cost, or cancel for a full refund.
- Within 24 hours of your session, or non-attendance: the fee is non-refundable. The time was reserved for you and cannot be filled at short notice.
- After a session has been delivered: non-refundable. You are paying for time and attention, not for a particular outcome.
- If we cancel: you choose between a full refund and a rescheduled session.
- Discretion: in genuinely serious circumstances, email us. Discretion is exercised generously and is reserved entirely to us.
Where you have a statutory right of cancellation under consumer law in your jurisdiction, that right is not affected by this section. Note that by booking a session inside any statutory cooling-off period and requesting that it go ahead, you may lose that right once the session has been delivered.
8. No guarantee of results
We make no promise, guarantee or warranty of any specific outcome, whether physical, emotional, psychological, relational, athletic, creative, professional or financial. Individual experiences vary widely, including to the point of no perceptible change. Any statement about what the work can do describes possibility, not entitlement.
9. Testimonials and research references
Testimonials published on the Site are genuine accounts shared with permission and describe one individual's experience. They are not typical, not representative and not predictive of your result. No payment is made for testimonials unless expressly disclosed.
Any scientific research, study, statistic or institution referenced on the Site is published third-party work, cited as general background on stress physiology and complementary practice. It is not evidence about AKEM Healing sessions, does not constitute endorsement by any cited researcher or institution, and does not indicate that you will obtain the outcomes reported in it.
10. Acceptable use of the Site
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully; not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or any related system; not to introduce malicious code; not to scrape, harvest or bulk-download content; not to submit false information or another person's details; and not to interfere with its normal operation.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, graphics, illustrations, layout, code and branding — is owned by AKEM Healing or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt or exploit it commercially without written permission. Materials provided to you during a session are licensed for your personal use only.
12. Third-party services and links
Booking, scheduling, payment and communication are handled through third-party providers, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to their processing. The Site may link to third-party websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for. A link is not an endorsement.
13. Availability of the Site
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site without notice, and we are not liable for any unavailability.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and the services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current or free from error.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site or the services is limited to the amount you paid for the session giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, income, opportunity, goodwill, reputation or data, however arising.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Akem Advisory LLC, AKEM Healing and Samuel Holmes against any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or to the services at any time, with or without notice, where we consider it necessary, including for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by direct discussion, beginning with written notice to Sam@akemhealing.com and allowing at least 30 days, before commencing formal proceedings.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by publishing a revised version here with a new version number and date. Continued use of the Site after publication constitutes acceptance. The version governing a booked session is the version in force when you signed the Client Agreement.
